BANGOR TWP. — The John Glenn boys swimming team won eight of 11 events against Bay City Central on Tuesday, edging the Wolves 97-89.
Tyler Marciniak, Jack Frederick and Tanner Peltier each won two individual events for the Bobcats. Marciniak claimed both the 200-yard freestlye (2:02.78) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:39.54), Peltier took first in the 200-yard intermediate (2:12.78) and the 100-yard butterfly (57.69) while Frederick placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (23.92) and the 100-yard freestyle (53.60).
Central claimed two of the three relay races as Collin Wojcik, Jesse Mindykowski, Sean Miller and Russell Bauer won the 200-yard frestyle relay (1:37.87) and Wojcik, Bo Paul, Bauer and Chris Schnettler claimed the 200-yard medley relay (1:53.07).
