Heritage Swimmer Riley Hilbrandt Wins 5 Events at Bobcat Pentathlon

Heritage swimmer Riley Hilbrandt stole the show Saturday at the John Glenn Bobcat Pentathlon. Hilbrandt won all five of her events to score 100 points and finish as the pentathalon’s top swimmer.

Chelsea Harmon of Bay City Western came in second with 89 points, while fellow Hawk teamate Madi Collins was third with 82 points.

Bay City Western's Kyleigh Rubis swam to a second place finish in the backstroke and swam a good overall day to score 73 points and come in fifth, while freshman Malorie Owczarak had three seventh-place finishes to come in eighth overall with 64 points.

Harmon finished second in the 50 freestyle with a state qualifying time of 25.89 seconds. Bay City Central’s Lindsey Martin was in fourth overall with 80 points. Kali Hartt, John Glenn’s highest finisher with 72 points finished in sixth place, while Sara Hamme came in tenth for the Bobcats with 50.5 points.
