Bay City Central swimmer Lindsey Martin is peaking at the right time, setting two new school records during the Saginaw Valley League preliminary swim meet Thursday.
Martin broke the 50-meter freestyle record with a time of 24:94. She followed that up by breaking the 100-meter fly record in 1:01.15.
"They swam very good," Central coach Kelli Meyette said of her team. "They were very pleased with their times. I couldn't ask for anything better."
The swimmers were competing in the preliminary meet to determine seeding position for Saturday's SVL league meet.
