TRENTON - The Grand Rapids Forest Hills Eastern/Northern hockey team scored three power play goals and Saginaw Heritage drew a blank on six power play chances to set the table for Forest Hills' victory Saturday at the Trenton Showcase.
Brad Reitter scored two goals and recorded an assist for Forest Hills while teammate Chris Hollemans finished with four assists.
Trevor Bremer recorded the goal for Saginaw Heritage, which is 6-11 this season.
Forest Hills built an early two-goal lead with a first-period goal from Sam Rennaker at 10:21 before Reitter lit the lamp four minutes into the second.
Heritage halved the deficit late in the second period on Bremer's goal at 11:36, but a power play strike by Marc Anderson soon thereafter at 12:33 reestablished Forest Hills' two-goal cushion.
Jared Mervenne then added a fourth goal for the Grand Rapids club before the period elapsed.
In the third Reitter struck again just before Griffin Reyelts added Forest Hills final goal at 11:26.
Forest Hills improves to 16-5 overall this season.
